Cast Glass

Casting of metal and glass is hundreds of years old and the methods are not altogether different as the base material has to be melted to liquid form and poured into a prepared mold that takes an extensive amount of work to produce.

The process starts with a clay or wax sculpture which is turned into a mold through a series of steps and then filled with the molten glass, annealed, and cold finished to remove molding imperfections and polished as needed to complete the process and provide a pleasing artpiece that can be displayed with pride.

All of my pieces are one-of-a-kind handmade originals and created by me for your pleasure and appreciation. Since this is such an involved process, my production is small and I won't have more than a few pieces available at any one time.
